Pastor Dave was born and raised in Sioux Falls. Following high school, he studied biology at the University of Sioux Falls. It was during his time at USF that he began attending Life Church and eventually became a youth leader. Pastor Dave’s passion for ministry quickly grew, and he decided that work in the church was where the Lord was leading him. Pastor Dave attended Sioux Falls Seminary and received Master of Marriage and Family Therapy and Master of Divinity degrees. Currently, most of Pastor Dave’s work revolves around discipleship, counseling, youth ministry, and community building at Life Church.  He is passionate about equipping every believer with the necessary tools to share the good news of Jesus and make disciples. He has been married to his lovely wife Jenny for 15 years, and they have 4 children: Grace, Livia, Jada, and Dawson. As a couple, Dave and Jenny have enjoyed working together to support adoptive families in the Sioux Falls area as well as advocating for orphan work around the globe. In his free time, Dave loves to fish, golf, and play basketball.
